  • 2-day Intro to multi-pitch climbing course

    This two day covers everything you need to know about multi-pitch climbing. It will review traditional protection placements and anchor construction while also covering rope management with one and two people in a multi-pitch setting as well as belay techniques to belay a leader, follower tips for making consecutive rappels as well as a handful of tips and tricks to get you out of the problematic situation.

  • Self Rescue Course (2-day)

    This two-day course covers a wide range of very repeatable techniques to help deal with most common problems in climbing. This course includes this linked hauling, improvising a rappel device, improvising a belay device, tandem rappels, counterbalance rappels, improvised ascension and more.

  • Smith Rock Get Away

    Smith Rock State park is the birthplace of American sport climbing, and with good reason, with literally thousands of routes ascending Smith’s heavily featured rock. With a HUGE range of difficulties and route lengths to choose from not to mention all the huecos, pockets, edges, and nubbin’s which are incredibly fun to climb Smith is tough to beat. 2-day minimum.

  • The Fang: The Edge of Time Arete (7p 5.10a)

    Only recently established in the Spring of 2023 this modern route has everything it takes to become one of the most classic routes in the Snoqualmie Pass Region. Seven Pitches of consistently fun edging with 5 of those pitches climbed right on the prow of the hanging Arete.

  • Alpine Rock: The Tooth Fairy (7p 5.9)

    The Tooth Ferry (7p 5.9) on the West Face of the Tooth is another Seattle Area Alpine Rock climb that is easily completed in a day. This route climbs 7 superb pitches, and the nature of the climbing makes it perfect for people looking to challenge themselves at the grade.

  • Voie de Chaise on Chair Peak (7p 5.9-)

    This route easily visible from the Alpental parking lot is located on the East Face of Chair Peak. It has become a modern classic on one of the most iconic peaks in the Snoqualmie Pass region. With most of the route being 5.7 and under with a handful of short but fun cruxes this is an excellent alpine day trip.

  • Alpine Rock: Mile High Club (7p 5.10a)

    Morning Star Peaks Mile High Club is one of a number of Seattle Area alpine rock climbs that can easily be done in a day. This 7-pitch route is spectacular and while it isn’t necessarily soft for the grade its straightforward style and short crux mean it’s a great option for people to push their grade. For the stronger folks, the route Beyond Redlining (11p 5.10c) which is on the same formation is also an option.

  • The Ascentionist (7p 5.10 b/c)

    This new wave multi-pitch sport route soaring all the way to the top of the Nevermind wall at Exit 38 has the feel of a climb in the Dolomites. The consistently steep and engaging climb is a must-do for Seattle area locals who are up to the grade.

  • Alpine Rock: Vesper Peak

    Vesper Peak is another gem of a mountain located along the mountain loop highway with 3 routes ranging between 5-6 pitches and 5.7-5.10a in difficulty. These routes are easily climbed in a day from Seattle and with a little bit of luck and a decent amount of fitness it can link multiple routes up on this face in a single day.

    Desert Fun: Vantage and Frenchman Coulee

    Vantage Washington or more specifically Frenchman’s Coulee located just outside of Gorge WA (exit 142 on I-90) is a little more than two hours from downtown Seattle general offers excellent sunny, warm, climbing in the spring and fall when everything else might be wet.

  • Ian Nicholson leads the amazing splitter finger crack crux of True Grit on the North Face of Vesper Peak

    Alpine Rock: Vesper Peak True Grit (5p 5.8)

    Another spectacular alpine route that is easily accessible in a day from Seattle. This 5-pitch route on the North face of Vesper Peak offers fun climbing, ultra-solid rock, with spectacular views.

    Want to take the family out climbing? We can take up to 10 climbers for a whole (8 hrs) or a half day (4 hrs) of climbing with a focus on fun. If we have more than 5 people, we will provide two guides.

  • Alpine Rock: The Tooth South Face (4p 5.4)

    Unquestionably among the most classic alpine rock climbs in this state. This 4 pitch route is consistently fun with excellent exposure while offering fantastic views to the south of Mt. Rainier. This route is easily done in a day from Seattle and w can leave late or early to accommodate people’s schedules to help squeeze it in during people’s otherwise busy schedules.

    Index Rock Climbing

    Index is easily the state’s best crag and while its reputation for stiff grades and stout climbs is well deserved there are still dozens of moderates that are every bite as good as their more challenging neighbors.

  • Multi-pitch climbing at Mt. Erie

    With dozens of fabulous mulit-pitch routes to choose from all overlooking the San Juan Islands, the straits of Juan de Fuca, and the Pacific Ocean. At only an hour-and-a-half from Seattle Mt. Erie is easily accessible for quick day trips for those looking to work on skills or simply get some pitches in in a beautiful setting.

    This comprehensive 2-day course is designed for the gym to crag transition and help climbers bridge the gap between what they know in the gym and what they will need to know to climb outside. This course will cover leading, lead belaying, setting up and cleaning anchors in an outdoor setting, as well as other skills helpful to sport climbing.

  • Moab Desert tower vacation

    Climbing Desert Towers like Castleton’s Kor Ingalls (III 5.9) or Ancient Art’s Stolen Chimney (III 5.9) this area is better suited to folks pretty solid following 5.9. There are several good cragging areas such as Wall Street and the ICe Cream Parlor with a number of moderates but for those wishing to climb towers, we recommend only folks already comfortable following the 5.9 grade sign up for this.
